We had an amazing stay at this charming country chateau. Set in extensive gardens, we were surrounded by natural beauty. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with antique furniture and interesting prints. the hospitality of our hosts was superb, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a private nook. the location, near a river, provided a peaceful atmosphere. the attention to detail, like the lightly lavender-scented pillows, made our stay memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and relax.
We struggled to find a nearby place for dinner in the evening, which was a bit frustrating.

It was all superb.

This place is a hidden gem! It's located in a beautiful countryside with stunning views. The owners were welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We were impressed with the amenities offered, especially the swimming pool which was perfect for a hot day. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the treasures of the past. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was plentiful. The icing on the cake was the value for money, a true feel of the French country living.
The only downside is that the property is not located near any restaurants. It would be helpful to have a dining room on site.

Spent an awesome New Year's Eve at a beautiful country estate. They offered a broad assortment of delicious breakfast options and the shower provided hot water despite the chilly weather outside. the estate grounds were extensive and well-maintained. Being just a short drive away from a charming historic town only added to the experience.
The winding staircase was not suitable for those with mobility issues, and the entrance could have been made clearer. It was difficult to see some of the decor, including knitted toys in the bathroom, which detracted from the ambiance.

The fully restored 3-bedroom house with preserved original decor was a charming and unique experience. It felt like stepping back in time, but with all the modern comforts we needed. One morning at Château de Villars, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast in the beautiful dining room. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was elegant, making us feel like royalty.
Arrival in the evening was a bit daunting because of the lack of lighting and clear entry signs.

The owner was friendly and helpful with restaurant advice. The property had period furnishings. The patrons were kind and helpful, even when we arrived late. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was typical French.
